Multi-award-winning independent developer releases new homes at Dorset development
8th December 2015Award-winning developer C G Fry & Son Ltd., best known for their prestigious Poundbury Development with the Duchy of Cornwall in Dorchester, has released a new private development in Dorset. Budmouth Mews near Weymouth, is a select development of just five private new homes with completion in spring 2016. The two and three-bedroom homes, a mix of terrace, semi-detached and a detached three-bedroom house are being sold from C G Fry’s newly opened Grey’s Field sales office with prices starting from 233,500.
The Independent developer was recently publicly recognised with four National House Building Council, (NHBC) ‘Pride in the Job 2015’ quality awards in the medium house builder category. Pride in the Job is the house-building industry’s most prestigious awards programme. It recognises the UK’s best site managers who achieve the highest standards in house-building and has been instrumental in driving up the quality of new homes for 35 years. Two of the winning site managers were from Dorset; Nathan Pyett for Grey’s Field, Chickerell and Steve Walker North East Quadrant at Poundbury. Both winners went on to receive further recognition with a ‘Seal of Excellence’ for each of their C G Fry Dorset sites, with Steve Walker announced as the South West Regional Winner.
C G Fry’s Budmouth Mews is just a short drive from the dramatic Jurassic coast, granted UNESCO status for its outstanding geology with parts dating back over 185 million years, and the popular holiday resort of Weymouth. The bustling town has a large choice of supermarkets and a variety of shops as well as excellent attractions, including a multi-screen cinema. The town enjoys great amenities and good rail links with trains running to Dorchester and on to London Waterloo. The sandy sweep of Weymouth bay with its shallow inshore waters, attracts sailing enthusiasts and windsurfers, and the outstanding countryside is a haven for walkers.
Annabel Legg – Sales and Marketing Manager, C G Fry & Son said: “This is a rare chance to acquire a property on a select development of just five new homes in a beautiful part of the country, near the stunning Jurassic Coastline. As this is an exclusive and small private development, we expect these new homes to be very popular and to sell very quickly.”
