24th February 2016Haldons Ltd., a multi-discipline firm with offices in Torquay, Exeter, Bristol and newly opened in Truro, announces a move to a new larger Head Office at 147 Union Street. The local company provides a wide range of professional services in many sectors across the South West region and throughout the UK as a whole.
‘The Keep’, a Grade II Listed building, and formerly a dispensary to Torbay Hospital, has an internal area of 165 sq. metres giving room for expansion to the six-strong team based in Torquay. Haldons Ltd., who has bought the new office premises, have fully refurbished the building using in-house resources. It now provides a bright, spacious and contemporary environment for both staff and clients, including a large boardroom for in-house meetings and training events.
Husband and wife team and co-directors, Mark and Maria Coton, established the business 12 years ago in Torquay. Since that time the company has worked on many projects throughout the South West region across a variety of sectors. This includes education schemes on a local level, such as Galmpton C of E Primary School; Torre C of E Academy and the new Multi-sport Hub and viewing area at Paignton Community & Sports Academy (PCSA). Part-funded by Sport England, this two-phase project was completed last year and officially opened by Olympic Silver Medallist, Peter Waterfield.
Mark Coton – co-director Haldons Limited said: “It is important to us as a local company to keep our Head Office in Torquay, and we have moved just down the road to much larger premises. Maria and I are now the proud owners of the new offices and the move provides a quieter, brighter working environment for our loyal team, with scope for further growth for Haldons going forward.”
