Multi-award winning chartered accountants, Haines Watts South West, with two offices in North Devon and an office in Cornwall, announces new appointments to their expanding team. This follows the newly appointed Amy Houlford as Manager covering their Head Office in Bideford, and also Barnstaple, as well as the promotion of Fiona Davey and Mel Stone to Senior Managers at the Launceston office which was a new acquisition in 2016.
Having worked for an accountancy firm based in North Devon, Amy Houlford from Ilfracombe, has been appointed as the new manager of Haines Watts South West, covering Bideford and Barnstaple offices. ACCA qualified, Amy brings with her a wealth of knowledge, and skills formed from gaining extensive exposure and hands-on experience, with a wide and varied client base, across the accountancy sector.
Amy comments: “I am thrilled to be joining the Haines Watts North Devon team and am looking forward to building my own client portfolio, whilst practising a management role in the Barnstaple and Bideford offices. I hope to bring the skills and knowledge that I have, to the clients here at Haines Watts, and in particular with agricultural clients.”
Both Fiona and Mel have over 17 years’ experience working in professional accountancy practices in Cornwall and are Fellow Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). In their new roles as senior managers based at the Launceston Office, they will review and oversee the preparation of annual accounts, tax and VAT for small and medium sized companies, partnerships and sole traders, and have face to face client contact.
