EXETER-BASED DESIGN AGENCY LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE PRODUCT TRIALLED BY CONSTRUCTION SECTOR

Exeter digital design and development agency – Reactor15, launch field service management software, ‘Reflow’. A city-centre business based in Exeter, they offer a full service digital agency, that design websites, print media, marketing campaigns and bespoke mobile apps.

Reactor15 has been working with local and national businesses for over 12 years on a number of exciting projects, including: website development for Britain’s Got Talent and X-Factor and internal communications for the company behind Tesco Clubcard as well as working with Devon-based talented singer, Elkie Brooks.

Born out of this software, Reactor developed ‘Re-flow’ – a field service management solution. Re-flow is the ‘must have’ tool for any company that has site workers and is now being adopted by businesses across the South West in construction, civil engineering, ground and road works, to name but a few.

Using their smart phone or tablet, field staff access job specifications and documentation, complete task lists, sign and submit forms, access location maps, route plans and company manuals and policies. Management are then able to oversee and control everything from a cloud based dashboard accessed via a web browser.

The first company to use this innovative app has been local construction company, Glendinning, established in 1958. The largest independent supplier of quarry and concrete products, both to the trade and direct to end-user in Devon and Cornwall. Glendinningused Re-flow for their surfacing, electrical and engineering teams who have been using the solution for 12 months with great results.

Steve Gill – Contracts Manager, Glendinning said:“Re-flow has become an invaluable tool for our surfacing team. The transition from previous systems to Re-flow has been smooth as the app and dashboard are easy to use and reliable when on site. Since adopting Re-flow, our workflow has sped up across the board, and job management has been made much easier now we can access everything digitally whilst on the move.”

Reactor15 has been working tirelessly for several years, developing their app programming software, which they use to build bespoke native apps for their clients. The system includes a content management system, which gives their customers the powerto make live updates to their app 24/7, cutting out the IT ‘middle man’.The apps also work offline – simply updating , when they are able to connect to the internet.

Mike Saunders – Managing Director Re-flow comments: “What makes Re-flow special, is that it works on any Android and Apple device, it can be used offline, includes live job management and content managed company documents as well as any complex and dynamic forms bespoke to the business. Best of all, it’s affordable for smaller companies. He adds: “We really feel that we have created something special with our app development system and particularly, Re-flow. As a small business ourselves, we understand the importance of having the best bespoke technology at affordable prices. Mobile devices and app-technology are really taking over every aspect of our lives, and Re-flow enables us to change the way businesses collect, share and store data.”
