Brewin Dolphin one of the UK’s leading Wealth Managers with an office in Exeter has been awarded an RHS Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2015.

The Brewin Dolphin Garden designed by Darren Hawkes delivered a breath-taking design that draws on Brewin Dolphin’s heritage, but also reflects their forward thinking approach to business and ability to evolve and adapt to changes in the financial and wider world.

Tim Walker Head of Brewin Dolphin in Exeter said, “We’re absolutely delighted with our Gold Medal success at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show. We greatly admire Darren Hawkes’ design and the planting – and are so pleased that all his great work has received the recognition it deserves. We would like to thank Darren and his team for ensuring that visitors of the garden have an enjoyable experience but also for making such a beautiful space.”

Upon discovering his medal card on the garden, Darren said, “This garden definitely required stepping up a gear from my 2013 Chelsea garden, the plot was much larger and the rock bank location much more challenging. That said, the team I have been working with on the Brewin Dolphin Garden are supreme professionals and this meant I could focus purely on executing the garden of my dreams for my sponsor. The joy of doing a CFS garden is very much in the camaraderie during the build but getting the RHS seal of approval via a wonderful medal is the icing on the cake“.
