11th May 2017Long-established ‘Jo Amor’ is the first lucky independent retailer to have a bespoke window graphic created for her fashion and giftware shop, located in the heart of Tiverton town centre, as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Ken White Signs (KWS). The local high-quality sign making company, is celebrating its golden milestone in business by giving back to the community – giving away FREE bespoke marketing material, to support many local independent retailers, charities, and schools.
Owned and run by Jo Webber (neAmor), the expansive shop has a very individual boutique feel, stocking the latest must haves in clothing for men, women, kids and baby – shoes, gifts and accessories. A small caf area serving hot beverages and freshly-prepared healthy, and delicious smoothies is a popular meeting place for local shoppers to browse and relax. Trading on Bampton Street in Tiverton for over 25 years, the shop has expanded over the period to a generous space of c.2.000 square feet.
A dynamic and creative business woman, Jo is well-known locally for her wonderfully bright and colourful window displays; and she jumped at the chance to have a special 50th anniversary bespoke graphic designed and installed by KWS featuring a much-loved rainbow.
Jo said: “It’s brilliant that Ken White Signs have been brightening up Tiverton and the surrounding areas for 50 years – it’s truly something to shout about. It is a very special gesture to have chosen to give back to their local town of which their family is such an important part of”. She adds: “We are thrilled to have the chance to truly rock up our windows and the colourful new graphic display from Ken White Signs adds another dimension to our display. I absolutely love the gold, unicorns and rainbows which are currently so on trend. The whole shopping experience starts with the windows and the feedback from customers has been amazing – immediately people were stopping and looking at the window. When it was put on our Facebook and Instagram pages it generated a great response and is the talk of the town!”
And Jo’s legendary window displays have attracted national and regional recognition, as the shop has been shortlisted in the ‘Greats Gifts Awards’ for the top five in the UK for ‘best window & instore display’ as well as one of the top five finalists for ‘best gift shops in the South West’! The award winners will be announced on Thursday 4th May @ The Grosvenor London.
